Metal Oxides
• Copper(II) oxide (CuO) – Black
• Iron(II) oxide (FeO) – Black • Iron(III) oxide (Fe₂O₃) – Reddish-brown • Zinc oxide (ZnO) – White (yellow when hot, white when cool) • Lead(II) oxide (PbO) – Yellow (red when heated strongly)
