Concrete Wasete

This project report from OM Engineering College focuses on the use of waste materials, specifically wood and rubber powder, in concrete to improve its properties. The study evaluates the compressive strength of M25 grade concrete with varying percentages of these waste materials over a curing period of 28 days. The report includes acknowledgments, certificates, and a detailed exploration of design thinking and product development relevant to the project.

Abstract
Waste material are construction waste material wood and rubber
other than water, aggregates, cement to achieve the above objective
we are partially replacing the waste wood powder and waste rubber
powder the work is focused on M25,grades of concrete.
The percentage of waste wood powder and waste rubber are
compressive strength at the age 7, 14 and 28 days of curing of
concrete are at the curing age of 28 days are to be determined.

1.2. What is Design Thinking?

Design Thinking (We) believes that rather waiting for Moses (Genius) to come and
showed us Innovation; With Design Thinking, we can build the bridges to cross over the
other side to that new land of promised future, so we can reliably manufacture our own
Miracles. Encourage creative consideration of a wide array of innovative solutions. Can
be applied to any field, including higher education. Approaches challenges from the point
of view (POV) of the end user. Call for a deep understanding of that user’s emotional
needs. In short, Design Thinking is the new confidence that new better things are possible
and that you can make them happen. Tim Brown, President and CEO of IDEO say
"Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that draws from the
designer's toolkit to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and
the requirements for business success.

1.3. Domain
Hospital Management 1

1.
2. Evolution of Idea

2.1 AEIOU Framework

2.1.1 Activity
An activity is nothing but any action like running, walking, talking, etc. that is
done by a person. Any person can do activity. For our Domain we analyzed that while
wearing the device, some activities are being done concurrently and parallel. Here are
some of them.

2
2.1.2 Environment
An environment is made of living and non-living things that exists in the world.
It can also be described as an activity that is done by living and non-living. We observed
that a virtual reality device can have the following environment .

3
2.1.3 Interaction
An interaction is a one type of talking that is done by one person to another
person. We noticed some of the below interactions that happens while playing games

4
2.1.4 Object
An object is a non-living thing that exists in the real world. We have noticed
some objects that are as follows.

5
2.1.5 User
A user is a person that uses anything that exists in the real world. Like if a person
uses a mobile he/she is a user or if a person uses resources he/she also called a user. We
observed many types of user that uses the virtual reality. Some are listed below

6
2.2 Mind Map
To describe about Mind Mapping techniques, we first have to understand what
observation is. There are five senses given to people, according to science these are the
tools for observation for a person that is SIGHT– what does it looks like? HEARING
– what does it sound like? TASTE – what does it taste like? TOUCH – what does
it feels like? SMELL – what does it smells like?

“A Designer without observation is like a bird without wings.”

Now what actually is a Mind Map? A mind map is a visual representation of
hierarchical information that includes a central idea surrounded by connected branches
of associated topics.

7
Now we study about Mind Mapping Technique step by step.

1. Start in the CENTER of a blank page turned sideways. Why? Because starting in the
center gives your Brain freedom to spread out in all directions and to express it more
freely and naturally.

2. Use an IMAGE or PICTURE for your central idea. Why? Because an image is worth
a thousand words and helps you use your Imagination A central image is more
interesting, keeps you focused, helps you concentrate, and gives your Brain more of
a buzz!

3. Use COLOURS throughout. Why? Because colours are as exciting to your Brain as
are images. Colour adds extra vibrancy and life to your Mind Map, adds tremendous
energy to your Creative Thinking, and is fun!

4. CONNECT your MAIN BRANCHES to the central image and connect your second
- and third-level branches to the first and second levels, etc. Why? Because your
Brain works by association. It likes to link two (or three, or four) things together. If
you connect the branches you will understand and remember a lot more easily.

5. Make your branches CURVED rather than straight-lined. Why? Because having
nothing but straight lines are boring to your Brain.

6. Use ONE KEY WORD PER LINE. Why because single key words give your Mind
Map more power and flexibility.

Use IMAGES throughout. Why because each image, like the central image, is also
worth a thousand words. So if you have only 10 images in your Mind Map, it’s already
the equal of 10,000 words of notes!

8
2.3 Empathy Mapping

2.3.1 Stake Holders and Users

9
2.3.2 Stories
Happy Story:

Sad Story:

Empathy Canvas is identification and a way to express a domain in terms of

feelings. It is the ability by which anyone can understand what the domain wants to say
about people’s feeling. It varies in four parts that are SELECTED USERS,
STAKEHOLDERS, ACTIVITIES and STORY BOARDING. Here, again story divides
into two parts Happy Story and Sad Story. A Happy story is what a person feels happy
by the use of the particular domain and same as A Sad story is what a person feels sad
about the domain.

2.4 Ideation Canvas
2.4.1 Situation-Context-Location

2.4.2 Props-Possible Solution

It simply means that what are the possible solutions can be made for the product.
What improvements are needed for the product. Is it possible to remove the drawbacks
using some solution.

11

12
2.5 Product Development Canvas

2.5.1 Purpose
The hospital management system helps register complete patient information. It
captures and stores the medical history, treatment required, details of their previous
visits, upcoming appointments if any, reports, insurance details and more. It helps
eliminate the need to get these details on every visit.

2.5.2 Product Experience

User Friendly: Customer can easily use.
Innovative: It is a new and innovative concept
User Oriented

2.5.3 Product Functions

Curative care

2.5.4 Product Features

2.5.6 Customer Revalidation
When we go to take the customer review, we get some important validation
that Should be done are as follows.
User Friendly
Smart Technology
Provide batter safety
Good Serviceability

2.5.7 Reject-Redesign-Retain
Why the product is rejected and needs to be redesign? Following are the
Important reasons.
Redesign to be more user friendly
Retain flexibility
Cost maintain
Redesign to easily implement

15
CONCLUSION
The hospital management system (HMS) is an integrated software that handles
different directions of clinic workflows. It manages the smooth healthcare performance along
with administrative, medical, legal and financial control. That is a cornerstone for the
successful operation of the healthcare facility.
