Walking towards the stage, with grace and honour, we are privileged
to have our guiding pillars, the respected Managing Directors, Mr
B.K. Aneja and Mrs Swati Aneja, eminent President of the school , DR
Ashok Batta , along with our ever-dedicated and beloved Principal
Mrs Amita Sachdeva,
We salute their commitment to the remarkable holistic growth of our

Let us take honour to formally welcome guest of honour - President
of Tagore International School, Dr. Ashok Batta , - distinguished figure
in the educational community – under Sir’s leadership school has
flourished, not only academically but also fostering holistic
development among students. On behalf of everyone at Tagore
International School, I welcome you SIR, to this celebration of
sportsmanship, determination and teamwork.
Now, WE EXTEND OUR HEARTFELT WELCOME TO OUR MANAGING
DIRECTOR SIR - MR. B.K. ANEJA, A STALWART IN HIS FIELD, BRINGS
WITH HIM A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE THAT IS
UNPARALLELED. HIS VISIONARY APPROACH AND STRATEGIC MINDSET

TO OFFICIALLY INAUGURATE THIS GRAND EVENT, WE BEGIN WITH
THE LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY. SO, I REQUEST OUR DIGNITARIES
TO KINDLY COME FORWARD TO LIGHT THE LAMP AND START TODAY’S
PROGRAM WITH POSITIVITY AND HOPE! I REQUEST ALL THE

And now, it's time for the powerful March Past of our students who
are standing confidently and ready to steal the show.
To kick off our event, we have a spectacular march past starting with
the band. We kindly request our distinguished guests, to please
stand as a mark of encouragement for our marching TEAMS.
MARCH PAST IS ALL ABOUT SYNCHRONIZATION AND TEAM WORK.
MARCHING DEMANDS ALERTNESS AND AN UNSPOKEN CO-
ORDINATION. THE DRUMBEAT ROLLS, THE BAND STRIKES UP AND A
HIGH PITCHED VOICE ISSUES A COMMAND. THE SYNCHRONIZED
SWING OF ARMS AND THE THUDDING FEET STIR SOMETHING WITHIN
US.
Please welcome our school band…. Japnaam Singh from VIII RUBY
leading the band with pride and honor. The rhythm of the band set
the perfect tone for our event, showcasing the discipline,
coordination, and talent of our students. Their harmonious tunes
inspire and uplift us, echoing the spirit of unity and excellence. Let’s
give a huge round of applause to our wonderful band!
After the band, our commanding officer Eshita from XI Commerce will
be giving the commands.
FOLLOWING THE BAND, WE HAVE THE FOUR HOUSES, EACH
REPRESENTING THEIR UNIQUE COLORS, VALUES, AND HERITAGE.
FIRST UP IS THE BEAS HOUSE, WITH THEIR MOTTO “SOARING TO
SUCCESS”. THE BEAS RIVER, FROM WHICH THIS HOUSE TAKES ITS
NAME, SYMBOLIZES THE FLOW OF LIFE AND UNWAVERING
PERSEVERANCE.
Leading the way is our captain, amanpreet kaur from ix pearl,
holding the flag high. Amanpreet has shown exceptional leadership
and dedication accompanied by vice captain divyanshu from x ruby,
the topper in ix class, holding the placard.
MARCHING MAJESTICALLY IN FRONT, WITH GREAT RESPECT
AND ADMIRATION, OUR STUDENTS SALUTE OUR ESTEEMED
GUESTS.
BEAS HOUSE, WEARING THEIR VIBRANT ORANGE COLOR,
SYMBOLIZES ENTHUSIASM, CREATIVITY, AND THE DRIVE TO
SUCCEED.
Next, we have the Ganga House, with the inspiring motto “Soaring
to Excellence”. Named after the sacred Ganga River, this house
represents purity, devotion, and an yielding quest for excellence.
CAPTAIN, GURLEEN KAUR FROM X RUBY, PROUDLY CARRIES THE
FLAG . ACCOMPANYING HER IS VICE CAPTAIN GURSHAN SINGH FROM
IX RUBY, HOLDING THE PLACARD.
Honoring our distinguished guests with a respectful salute.
THE GANGA HOUSE MARCHES IN THEIR RADIANT YELLOW,
REPRESENTING JOY, OPTIMISM, AND ENLIGHTENMENT. THEIR
DISCIPLINE AND UNITY ARE TRULY COMMENDABLE. LET’S APPLAUD
THEIR EFFORTS!
NOW, WE WELCOME THE SATLUJ HOUSE, WITH THE MOTTO
“SOARING TO GLORY”. THIS HOUSE TAKES ITS NAME FROM THE
SATLUJ RIVER, SYMBOLIZING WISDOM, GLORY, AND STRENGTH.
Captain Harshit from X Ruby, a zonal badminton champion, leads the
charge, holding the flag. Vice Captain Ripranjan Kaur, a district
champion in skates, holds the placard.
Saluting our honorable guests with pride and respect.The
Satluj House symbolizes wisdom, integrity, and the pursuit of
greatness.
WATCH OUR STUDENTS WALK IN PERFECT COORDINATION,
THEIR HEADS HELD HIGH, SHOWING THE DISCIPLINE AND
DETERMINATION OF TRUE SPORTSMEN. GIVE IT UP FOR
THEM, EVERYONE!
Last but certainly not least, we have the Yamuna House, with the
motto “Soaring to Bravery”. Named after the Yamuna River, this
house stands for courage, resilience, and growth.
CAPTAIN JASKARAN SINGH, AN UNDER-17 SAHOHDYA CRICKET
PLAYER, LEADS THE HOUSE WITH THE FLAG, FOLLOWED BY VICE
CAPTAIN PARINAZ, A DISTRICT CHAMPION IN BADMINTON, HOLDING
THE PLACARD.
PAYING TRIBUTE TO OUR ESTEEMED GUESTS WITH A
RESPECTFUL SALUTE. THE GREEN OF YAMUNA HOUSE SIGNIFIES
GROWTH, HARMONY, AND THE COURAGE TO FACE CHALLENGES.
Their strong and steady march reflects their bravery and
determination.
As the band and houses march past, let’s be inspired by their
commitment and excellence. Every step they take is a testament to
their hard work and determination.

Torch March PAST

THIS TRADITION SYMBOLIZES THE SPIRIT, UNITY, AND EXCELLENCE
THAT DEFINES OUR SCHOOL. NOW THAT WE’RE CHARGED UP, LET’S
DIVE INTO THE ESSENCE OF THE DAY—OUR SPORTS EVENTS!
STARTING WITH THE TORCH MARCH PAST, CARRIED BY THE
PLAYERS, SYMBOLIZING THE FIRE OF COMPETITION!
Now I request MD MAM AND SIR TO lit the TORCH AND pass on the
torch, a symbol of dedication, to our Head Girl, Avneet Kaur Pandher
from 11th Science, and our Head Boy, Randhir Singh from 12th
Science for this I invite I invite Head Boy and Head Girl to come
forward and receive the torch from our esteemed Managing
Directors.
THESE TWO BRIGHT LEADERS WILL TAKE THIS TORCH AND PASS IT
ON TO A CHAIN OF OUR TALENTED ATHLETES, EACH REPRESENTING
THE HEART AND PRIDE OF OUR SCHOOL. LET'S GIVE THEM A ROUND
OF APPLAUSE AS THEY COMMENCE THIS SIGNIFICANT MOMENT.
With pride, Avneet and Randhir now pass the torch to the first pair,
Gurnoor Kaur from 11th Science and Prabhleen Kaur from 12 th
Commerce. The district-level volleyball champions presenting
strength and power in every stride.
THEY NOW HAND OVER THE TORCH TO GURSHAN FROM 12TH
COMMERCE AND AARAV FROM 11TH COMMERCE, BOTH STATE-LEVEL
BADMINTON PLAYERS, SHOWCASING THE AGILITY AND PRECISION OF
CHAMPIONS.
Next, we have Nancy from 8th Emerald and Parinaz from 9th Ruby,
With district-level honors in badminton, they carry forward the legacy
of dedication and determination.
THE TORCH NOW GOES TO YUVRAJ AND RAVINDER FROM 8TH
GRADE, STATE-LEVEL CHAMPIONS IN VOLLEYBALL, EMBODYING
TEAMWORK AND PERSISTENCE.
Finally, the torch reaches SHUBHAM FROM 12TH ARTS , representing
our school in cricket at state level and PRABHJOT SINGH FROM 11TH
SCIENCE representing our school in cricket at state level volleyball
with pride and strength.
WITH THE TORCH PLACED, LET US TAKE A MOMENT TO REFLECT ON
THE JOURNEY, THE EFFORT, AND THE SPIRIT OF EVERY STUDENT
HERE.
AS WE MOVE FORWARD, WE WILL UPHOLD THE VALUES OF

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU- 1st Prime Minister of India, who believed in the
power, potential, and promise of every child.
TODAY, ON OUR ANNUAL SPORTS DAY, WE SEE BEFORE US THE
EMBODIMENT OF NEHRUJI'S VISION: OUR RISING CHAMPIONS AND
EMERGING STARS. TODAY I PROMISE, THAT EACH ONE OF YOU WILL
SEE THE FUTURE OF INDIA IN THESE CHILDREN, YOU WILL SEE OUR
FUTURE LEADERS, ATHLETES, AND ACHIEVERS IN THE ENTHUSIASTIC
PARTICIPANTS OF OUR SPORTS DAY.
As we cheer for our young athletes, let's remember that every race
run, every jump taken, and every game played, they are moving a
step closer to their dreams, rising as champions and emerging as
stars.
