Windows Taskbar
The taskbar is one of the most familiar aspects of Windows. When you open files and programs, their
icons show up on the taskbar so you can switch between them.
Start menu
The Start menu is the main gateway to your computer's programs, folders, and settings. It's called
a menu Use the Start menu to do these common activities:
Search programs
1- Documents. Opens the Documents library, where you can access and open text files,
spreadsheets, presentations, and other kinds of documents.
2- Pictures. Opens the Pictures library, where you can access and view digital pictures and graphics
files.
Shut down
At the bottom of power. Click the Shut down button to turn off or restarting your computer.

1-Calculator
Windows Calculator is a calculating application included in all the versions of Windows. It can
be used to perform simple calculation, scientific calculation and Programming calculation.
2-Snipping Tool

The Snipping Tool captures all or part of the computer display screen as a picture. You can save
the picture and attach it to an e-mail or paste the picture into a document. Click the Start button,
type snip, and click the Snipping Tool from the search results. The screen fades slightly, and the
Snipping Tool toolbar appears.
Snipping tool can be used to Print Screen, annotate and use in other applications.
3-Paint
Paint (formerly Paintbrush for Windows) is a simple graphics painting program that has been
included with all versions of Microsoft Windows. It is often referred to as MS Paint or Microsoft
Paint. The program opens and saves files as Windows bitmap . BMP, JPEG, GIF. Paintbrush
supports GIF without animation or transparency

4-Notepad
Notepad is a common text-only (plain text) editor. The resulting files—typically saved with the
.txt extension—have no format tags or styles, making the program suitable for editing system
files that are to be used in a DOS environment.
Notepad supports both left-to-right and right-to-left based languages, and one can alternate
between these viewing formats by using the right or left Ctrl+Shift keys to go to right-to-left
format or left-to-right format, respectively.
5-WordPad
Microsoft WordPad is a free rich text editor included with Microsoft Windows 95 and the later.
Earlier to Windows 95 there used to be an application called Write for the same task. Although
capable of doing much more than Notepad, WordPad is not as advanced as Microsoft Word.
WordPad can format and print text, but lacks intermediate features such as a spell checker,
thesaurus, and support for tables. As such, it is suitable for writing letters or short pieces, but
underpowered for work that relies heavily on graphics or typesetting.

In this post, we will cover all these above-mentioned settings that are related to
time and language. You can also change data formats and add additional clocks
for different time zones in this section of the Windows 10 Settings.
To open the Time and Language Settings on your Windows 10 PC, click on
the Start menu > Windows Settings > Time & Language. The Time and Language
Settings window will open and you will see four main categories –
In this section, you will find the option to synchronize the clock and set the time
zone. If you wish to show additional clocks in the Taskbar, you select Simplified
Chinese (Lunar) or Traditional Chinese (Lunar); or you can choose to not show any
additional calendars on the Taskbar. Under Related Settings, you will find the
settings to date, time and regional formatting and to add clocks for different time
zones.

Windows 10 lets you change the Date and Time Formats too. Scroll down and click
on ‘Change Date and Time Formats’ and this is where you can select, which day
your week will start, whether it will be Sunday, Monday or any other day in the
week. It also lets you select the long or short date and time format.

2. Region
The Region tab lets you choose the country or region your currently live in. This
helps the Windows and apps to give you all the local content. Next is to choose
the Regional Format. Click on Change data formats to make changes to calendar,
first day of week, short date, long date, short time, and long time supported by the
region. Under Related settings, you will find the link to the Additional date, time,
and regional settings.

3. Language
Choose the Windows display language in which you want the Windows features to
appear. You can also add a preferred language by clicking on the option and
installing the language you prefer. Click on choose an input method to always use
as a default to access the advanced keyboard settings. Under Related settings,
you will find the Date, time, and regional formatting, Administrative language
settings, and Spelling, typing, and keyboard settings. This post shows in detail how
