Module 2 Task 1 Case Studies in ATL

BREAKING UP TASKS INTO ATL SKILLS

View Case Study Videos 1,

Go through this Visible Thinking Routine:

VIDEO: Case Study 1

What do you see? I see that the students are all engaged and not giving up they are
using all their skills to research and come up with a solution. They are also given
enough freedom and support to try their ideas out. I also noticed that the task has
been divided between the students depending on their skills.

What do you think?

I think the that traditional learning does not really help the students to gain skills to
help them in the future

What do you wonder?

I wonder if the students actually finished the project and shipped it. I also wonder
how many hours of research did they do and how many hours did they take to build
the home. I wonder if this can be applied in my school

Break it up into skills

In each video you viewed, what was the TASK the student had to accomplish?
