Technology is the skills ,method and the processes used to achieve goals. It can be used

to do so many things for example produce goods or services . carry out goals such as scientific

investigation, machinery and equipments development from application of knowledge dealing

with engineering or applied science.

Modern technology has paved the way the way for multifunctional devices like computers are

increasingly faster , more portable and powered than ever before, with all of these

revolutions,technology has also made our lives easier , faster, better and more (Placeholder1)It

has transformed learning and has advanced relationships between educators and students

reinvent approaches to learning and collaboration , shrinks long standing equity and accessibility

gasp . it has grown since the 1800 where the first televisions were invented and came to use since

then up to date there have been much explore because they were black and white now we have

digitals. There’s also use of mobile phones it has evolved so much from using wired telephones

which were connected together to buttons mobile hand set to using smart phones which has made

communication easier and has brought the world together and has become like one global

village.One can communicate from across all continents ,from Europe,Asia,Afican etc am send

the message as it is using mobile apps such as twitter, facebook,Instagram, whatssapp etc.

Technology has been used to solve a lot of things in this world which was a great issue

in the past , people lived in the dark especially in a continent like Africa which is a 3 world and

also termed as a dark continent which made it a lot harder to survive and meet day to day life.

With technology there have been industrial evolution , development in the transport for
example one is able even to move around in foreign countries by use of google maps a

lot easier without getting lost also use of cabs which are connected with maps for example uber

and bolt.which makes you connected with where you are going a lot easier than before.making

the adventures more enjoyable and reliable and much easier and faster unlike before. Also it has

made earoplane development making moving from one counry to the other a lot easier.

In the manufacturing industries it has become much easier,faster and efficient plus other

techniques has developed , less westage, more effective marketing and promotion , new sales

venues (Chesley and Shore, 2018 pp 230) social media has played a big role in job creation like

online jobs we say the future is online. It has also helped people in the medical department where

they treat more sick people and save many lives especially, making the treatment accessible at

any time of the day ulike going to the hospitals, in a time like this where we have a pendemic of

covid 19 where its spread through physical meeting it’s the number one killer (ISAD,2017 pp.

128). the world. Also people who works in e.g. companies can meet through zoom meetings and

discuss their way forward and they are also able to communicate with foreign countries and

promote their businesses

Disadvantages of technology are as follows, social disconnect where people develop antisocial

behavior which are so obsessive making the young generation not to go to work and stay glued

to their gadgets. job insecurity such as people who are smart online especially in IT makes so

much fraud by hacking account .digital media manipulation where one is cyber bullied by

certain character which wants to make money out of a situation which favors them by

exaggerations and manipulation. Lastly there is no privacy because you have people spying and

tracking you others having information mishandling plus no data protection exposing sensitive

information which are private and confidential such as financial data and interllectual property
data ( Rahimi, 2018 pp. 6049)
