2. An experiment was carried out to investigate the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide
by an enzyme present in living tissues. Potato suspension W, X, Y and Z containing
different concentrations of the enzyme were mixed with equal volumes of hydrogen
peroxide. The height of the product formed was measured using the ruler. W was 0
mm, X was 2 mm, Y was 7 mm and Z was 4 mm
