INT. TAXI - DAY

We open on a low angle shot of a skyscraper from the


perspective seen from outside a taxi window.

Cooper: They say that money can't buy happiness(Bridge)

INT. BEDROOM

Phone buzzing sound fx

COOPER
Richard I need to tell you
something, (Pause) my father has
lung cancer

FADE TO BLACK

EXT. PINIC TABLE AT SCHOOL

COOPER
I need to make some money,
otherwise I won't be able to afford
the med bills

RICHARD
So, you got a plan or something?

COOPER
Yea, but I'll need your help
FADE TO BLACK

MONTAGE:

--WINE GLASS CLINGING

--SIGNING A CHECK

--COCKS GUN

--RUNNING FINGERS THROUGH CASH

--DUFFLE BAG OF MONEY DROPS ON TABLE

EXT. BEACH

We open on a low angle shot of a man sipping a glass of


grape juice on the beach

This is the life!

INT. 1ST FLOOR OF I&S BLOCK NEAR LOCKER AREA

COOPER
Dam it, Dam it all, Richard, how
could you mess this up, we had it,
it was within reach, just a couple
more days, why Richard? Why?

Cooper then procedes to kick the lockers in anger

FADE TO BLACK

INT. CLASSROOM

COOPER
(Slams table) Mr Banks, I have a
propersition for you.

MR BANKS
And what makes you think that I
would work with you?

Cooper then lifts up a briefcase, it thumps onto the table


revealing its contents; moutains of cash.

INT.MEETING ROOM/OFFICE

Cooper is sitting on a couch, adjacent to him sits Mr


Banks,listening to him ramble on

COOPER
I think I'm addicted
MR BANKS
To what excatly?

COOPER
All this wealth, I mean its just
too much for me to handle all at
once, but still, its just so
exciting

EXT. DARK ALLYWAY

(Cooper isn't aware of what's going on behind him)

MR BANKS
Cooper, you know the saying, "Keep
your friends close, but keep your
enemies closer"

COOPER
Yea, what about it
