Introduction

Technology is the study and science of innovation. Technology thrives

in the environment of problems. With its inventive and creative hands, it

seeks to provide solutions, but it does not stop there as simple solutions do

not satisfy the true spirit of technology as it aims to improve and further

innovate these inventions of before, expanding its features and the reach of

its accessibility. Technology gave rise to creations and inventions that steam

rolled the advancements and progress that society significantly benefited

from may it be in the past or are currently experiencing now in the modern

world.

Programming is one of these breakthroughs. The history of

programming is extremely rich with genius minds and talent and one woman

started it all. Ada Lovelace created the first ever machine algorithm in 1843,

she was the first one to realize and recognized that numbers can represent

and could be interpreted in other ways, through that the idea of

programming rose. Her work was the steppingstone in being able to design a

language that are capable of interacting with computers through instructions

(Severine Hierso n.d.)
Through this innovation, several programming

languages was born namely FORTRAN, LISP, COBOL, APT, ALGOL, COBOL,

SIMULA, JOVIAL, and several others that was used and utilized to change the

course of the field and industry of computer technology and technology as a

whole.
As time goes by, the innovation and creation around programming

increase exponentially and the heights and capabilities through the means of

coding grew more impressive and beneficial. The boundaries and potential of

innovation stretch further and farther. The nature and extent of programming

activity is changing rapidly. In the setting of professional programming,

recently discovered tools continue to change the day-to-day identity of

design and coding . This is where Phyton comes in. Before,

programmers defaulted into using tools such as AWK and shell scripts, but it

has several underlying problems and limitations that will come up in the long

run. To name a few, it has a very low level of inter-operability, this

discourages collaboration as it makes incorporating new methods difficult,

leading to very large scripts that are hard to maintain, read and debug.

Through Guido van Rossum’s innovation, Phyton was created. It knocked it

out of the park right out of the gate, with its remarkably simple, concise and

elegant syntax but still being a powerful and general-purpose programming

language. It also provides high level structures such as arrays, modules,

classes, exceptions and several others that can be utilized to create systems

and programs.

Through taking advantage of the capabilities and features Phyton

programming language offers, the researchers created a system that enables

a user, incorporating the user input function, to rent a specific commercial

product. The researchers utilized iterations, selections and exceptions

handling structures to bring a steady flow and fluid transitions when using

the system, avoiding confusion and unsuccessful renting process.
