Learning and Optimization
This is a short course on mathematical foundations of machine
learning. It consists of four modules: vector calculus, linear
algebra, probability and machine learning.

This program is scheduled in Summer of 2025 at Cheenta. It is


also a pre-requisite for Cheenta’s Summer Research Program
(though it can be attended independently).

Understand the four modules

We assume that participants are familiar with high school standard


algebra and some elementary calculus. Acquaintance with basics of
Python is can be useful but not necessary.

The program starts on 25th April 2025 and will run for 4 months. Course fee is Rs.
14, 160 inclusive of 18% GST. All classes are live , online and interactive.
