2. Define radiation resistance of antenna. 3. Illustrate long wire antenna. 4. Examine the major advantages of folded dipole antenna. 5. Demonstrate the fields of a short dipole. 6. Demonstrate the radiation pattern of an array of 8 isotropic point sources separated by λ/2 distance and in phase with the help of pattern multiplication. 7. Derive antenna temperature and its relation with the signal to noise ratio (SNR). 8. Evaluate electric field due to array of two λ/2 driven element when current of equal amplitude and same phase is flowing in antennas. 9. Derive expression of electric field due to short dipole. 10. An antenna has a field pattern given by E(θ) = cos2θ for 0˚ ≤ θ ≤ 90˚. Evaluate: i. HPBW ii. FNBW iii. Beam area iv. Draw the pattern showing HPBW and FNBW.
