MICROPROJECT REPORT

1.0 Rationale

2.0 In today’s fast-paced digital world, there is a growing need for

compact, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that can keep up
with both innovation and real-world application. Traditional systems
are often bulky, expensive, or overly complex—making them
inaccessible for beginners, students, or developers working on agile
prototypes.

2.0 Aim/Benefits of the Micro — Project

This Micro-Project aims to develop a compact, innovative, and accessible solution

that addresses real-world challenges using minimal resources. Designed with efficiency
and simplicity in mind, it provides a hands-on approach to learning, prototyping, and
deploying small-scale technological applications.

COs addressed by the Micro Project:

1.C01 Apply fundamental engineering concepts to design and develop a functional

micro-based solution..

2.C02 Demonstrate problem-solving skills by identifying real-world challenges and

implementing practical solutions..
3.C03 Utilize modern tools and technologies in the development and testing of
compact electronic systems..

4.C04 Utilize modern tools and technologies in the development and testing of
compact electronic systems..

3.0 Literature Review

The development of micro-projects and compact embedded systems has gained

significant traction in recent years, particularly in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT),
automation, and smart electronics. Numerous studies and technical papers
emphasize the importance of low-cost, energy-efficient, and scalable solutions for real-
world applications.

4.0 Actual Methodology

The development of the Micro Project followed a systematic and iterative approach to
ensure functionality, reliability, and ease of use. The methodology adopted includes the
following key stages:
1. Problem Identification

A specific real-world problem was selected where a compact, efficient solution was
required. Use-case analysis helped define the core objectives and expected outcomes
of the project.

2. Requirement Analysis

Hardware and software requirements were gathered based on the scope of the project.
Factors such as power consumption, component compatibility, and user interface were
considered.

3. System Design

A block diagram and circuit schematic were prepared to visualize the hardware layout
and logical flow. The system architecture was designed to optimize performance within
minimal space.

4. Component Selection

Microcontroller boards (e.g., Arduino, ESP32), sensors, actuators, and supporting

modules were selected based on the project needs and budget constraints.

5. Implementation & Development

The project was assembled on a breadboard or PCB, and code was written using
suitable programming environments (e.g., Arduino IDE, Python). Initial testing and
debugging were conducted in this phase.

6. Testing & Troubleshooting

The complete system was tested for functionality, accuracy, and efficiency. Issues
encountered were identified and resolved through debugging both hardware and
software components.

7. Final Integration

The components were housed in a compact enclosure if required, and the system was
made ready for demonstration or deployment.

8. Documentation & Evaluation

All design files, code, and reports were compiled. Performance was evaluated against
initial objectives and documented for academic submission or user reference.

• Collect real-time health data using sensors for patient care and wellness
tracking.
Output of Micro Project:
The Micro Project successfully delivers a compact, functional, and efficient solution
designed to solve a real-world problem. The key outputs of the project include: :-

Working Prototype: A fully operational hardware setup demonstrating the

intended functionality.

Innovative Solution: A creative and practical implementation that addresses a

specific use-case or challenge.

Embedded Program Code: Custom-written code for the microcontroller,

enabling system automation and control.

Performance Evaluation: Test results and performance metrics verifying the

effectiveness of the system.

Project Documentation: A detailed report covering objectives, methodology,

components used, circuit design, and conclusions.

Demonstration Ready: A presentable and testable model suitable for academic

evaluation or real-world demonstration.
PROGRAM OF MICRO PROJECT:
Here is the complete program (code) for your product landing page Micro

Project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

int sensorPin = A0;

int sensorValue = 0;

void setup() {

Serial.begin(9600);

pinMode(13, OUTPUT);

void loop() {

sensorValue = analogRead(sensorPin);

Serial.println(sensorValue);

if(sensorValue > 500){

digitalWrite(13, HIGH); // Turn on LED or relay

} else {

digitalWrite(13, LOW); // Turn off

delay(1000);

}
How It Works: -
1. The HTML structure includes a form with input fields for name and email and a
submit button.
2. CSS is used to style the form, making it visually appealing and user-friendly.
3. JavaScript is used to handle the form submission:
• It prevents default form submission.
• Retrieves user input values.
• Displays a confirmation message after successful registration.
