Graph Edit is the drawing environment to generate the system status graph,
process chart etc. The operator can get all graphs through configuration and
monitor field conditions conveniently.

1. Startup the Graph Edit software ◆ Loading Graph edit software
The Graph Edit software is started through the Project Center, as below:
Starting up the Project Center, double click to open Operation Configuration-
>Process Graph, click new button, the newly built picture automatically into Graph
Edit software interface. or double-click the exist graph into Graph Edit software
interface. As shown in Figure.

(2)On graph sub-node of the “graph tree”, select the right-click menu, click
the command “graph properties”;
(3) In the work space, double clicking the opened graph edit window.

(1) The default name is as Untitled + Arabic figures, it could be modified to a string of any combination of
character, Arabic numeric or Chinese characters, the length cannot exceed 48 characters. It is also the
filename when saved, which the suffix is mpg. The name must be unique in one project.
(2) The refresh cycle can chosen from the drop-down list: 125ms, 250ms, 500ms, 1000ms, 1500ms,
2000ms, the default cycle is 500ms.
(3) when Edit Parameters, it needs to setup Parameter Name\ Parameter Description\Parameter Value.
(4) The index number starts from 0,the max value is 24.
(5) The pixel range of width is between 10 and 2000 in integral, and the range of height is between 10 and
1500 in general. The set value is integer.
(6) The width and height pixel value is from 5 to 30 in integral. The set value is integer.

System Toolbar:It provides some icons and tools of edit graph
against the corresponding menu commands
Text Toolbar:It contains various tools button about display and text edit.
Graph Toolbar: It contains color and style settings for the selected object, often
cooperate with graph objects in Draw Toolbar. Click the drop

View Toolbar:It provides the function of opening or closed the relevant windows
in the software interface.
Design Toolbar:It provides command of update page and download, and the function of
script, start test and end test, define pipe types.
Object Toolbar: It is used for editing properties and adding features of every object in the
graph edit window.

Right click on the list of symbol library,select “Preview symbol library "command:

Graph->Symbol library
In the working area, left click to select object to be added, press Ctrl button and
meanwhile drag the graphic object to the library to be added, mouse at this time looks
like below. Then release left button to add the current graphic object into this library.
The combined object in the flowchart can be added to the project symbol library after
right click selected. They can also be added on batch. Underline, before added to the

After drawing the static graphs, we can add various features for the static objects, including
dynamic feature, interactive feature ,formula feature.
(1)Dynamic features:Double click the object, choose “Edit Dynamic features” tab in the
Pop-up setting window.

Add Dynamic Features,exchange to General>Color feature:
Add execute condition : Active
condition, and the logical relationship
between each conditions. Each
operating result is a true or false
Boolean. The conditions form a total
result through “AND\OR” operators.
This result is the trigger condition of
the dynamic feature.

Text Feature is only available for text object. In online mode, after Text Feature is defined by text
object, the corresponding database tag value will be displayed on the screen.
For example: As the figure , add two text objects in a graph as below. The text 0.62 is related to
an analog tag TAG0, and the text OPEN is related to a digital tag TAG2:

Description of 1: it will show this description when the tag value is True. It is valid only for digital tag.
Description of 0: it will show this description when the tag value is False. It is valid only for digital tag.
Use Description of 1(0) in Database: after this box is checked, it will show E1 when the tag value is
True, and E0 when the tag value is False. It is valid only for digital tag.(E1/E0 is an item value in
database)

After defined a Filling Feature to an object, when corresponding online tag value in the
database of this object is between the upper limit and the lower limit,the object will be
filled a color changing with a tag value settled as a parameter.
For example: as figure, set Filling Feature for a rectangle.

Upper Range Value: : The corresponding changing maximum value when the filling
feature occurs.
Lower Range Value: : The corresponding changing minimum value when the filling
feature occurs.
Whether to use database measuring range: after this box is checked, it will use the
Upper and Lower Limit Measure Range in database. The default is 0 to 100.
Fill Color: the color used to fill an object.
Filling Direction: the direction of the color change, from down to up, up to down, left
to right, right to left.

Analog value feature enables to display current tag value and unit according to the
format in the database.
Example:shown in figure, add analog value feature to the measuring point text.

Auto Zooming Border:When text and rectangle are combined, If you click Yes in this
option, rectangle will zoom with the text, or it will not.
Show Unit:Yes or No
Alignment Direction:Align Left, or No, Align Left;
Blink when invalid:If click Yes, it will blind when the value is invalid, or it will not.

Select Popup Window: There are multiple popup windows in this drop down list.
Choose one according to your needs. Simultaneously, edit parameters for the
popup window.
PositionX: X coordinate of top left corner of the popup window in pixels, the origin
is the top left corner of a graph.
Position Y: Y coordinate of top left corner of the popup window in pixels, the origin
is the top left corner of a graph
Position:the position of popup window
User specified:the window will be prompted at the position of X position and Y position
Cursor Position: The window will be prompted at the cursor position, and then it is valid of X
position and Y position
Top left corner: the window will be prompted at the top left position of the selected object,
then it is valid of X position and position.
Button right corner: the window will be prompted at the button right position of the selected
object, then it is valid of X position and position.

“Set Feature” enables users to set the value of a tag to 1 and provides the function
reconfirm when response event occurred.
Example:Set PN2 to 1(Domain No. 0, a digital tag) when click left mouse button,
PN2 will be set to 1 with reconfirm hint. After left mouse button is up, PN2 will come back
to 0.

are custom specified, top left, button right for option. Custom specified means the

The created report will be saved as the following path in the default situation.
For example,
“D:\HOLLiAS_MACS\ENG\user\ExamplePro\Report\”“ExamplePro” is the
project’s name. Report’s name can only be composed of letter, number and
underline and the length can not lager than 15 characters.
During the report configuration, not to click “close” button until you have finished
configuration , or the opened report will be closed at the same time.
