Create IOTabulated Parameter From 2 DCurve

This document provides instructions on how to install and use the CreateIOTabulatedParameterFrom2DCurve macro in Flux software. The macro creates a new tabulated I/O parameter from a 2D curve, which can be used for calculating efficiency and Bertotti’s losses. It includes steps for installation and execution of the macro within the software environment.

Macro definition: CreateIOTabulatedParameterFrom2DCurve

Goal of the This macro intends to create a new tabulated I/O parameter from a 2D
macro curve. It can allow for instance to compute Bertotti’s losses and to have
a parameter in order to introduce it in a formula for computing the
efficiency. You will have to specify the following items:
• Select the 2D curve (for instance result of iron loss computation
with Bertotti’s method)

Figure 1 : interface of macro

As output, the macro will create:

• As many I/O tabulated parameters as components in the initial curve
(automatic name using the initial curve name as root)

The I/O parameter can then be used in formula for computing

instantaneous efficiency for instance
(Power_output/(Power_input+iron_losses) or (Power_output-
iron_losses)/power_input
