Control Supply To Match AGiven Results

This document provides instructions on installing and using the ControlSupplyToMatchAGivenResults macro, which controls supply values to achieve a specified temperature profile. It outlines the inputs required for the macro and the outputs generated, including a solved project and a text file detailing iterations. The installation path for the macro and steps to call and run it within the Flux software are also included.

Introduction This document deals with how to install a macro, and how to use the
ControlSupplyToMatchAGivenResults macro. It will include the following topics:
• Macro definition: ControlSupplyToMatchAGivenResults
• Install a macro

Macro definition: ControlSupplyToMatchAGivenResults

Goal of the The goal of this macro is to control step by step the value of the supply (RMS value of
macro voltage or current source) to have a output matching a given results. This macro allows
predicting the supply in order to obtain a given profile of temperature. The inputs of the
macro ControlSupplyToMatchAGivenResults.PFM are:
- The parameter to pilot
- The variation parameter defining the output (I/O Parameter or sensor)
- A tabulated parameter describing the desired profile of temperature
- The value of the time step
- The end time of the scenario
- The precision to reach on the temperature
- The name of the scenario to create
- The maximum number of iterations to find the value of the supply for each time step

Before running the macro, the user has to define the profile of expected temperature. It
should be done thanks to a tabulated I/O parameter.

As output, the macro will create:

The project solved with a supply controlled to obtain predefined results.
A text file created in the working directory containing for each time step the iteration done to
find value of supply given predefined results.
