Guidelines of Project For Students
1. Group Formation:
● The maximum number of students per project group is 4.
● The minimum number of students per project group is 2.
● The group must be formed from the same section.
2. Project Selection:
● Project titles must be chosen from the provided project sheet.
● Groups with their own project ideas must seek approval after a thorough review
by the PBL (Project-Based Learning) Faculty and project coordinator.
3. Submission Guidelines:
● Submit the supervisor form immediately after group formation and project
selection.
● Follow the proper formatting guidelines for both the synopsis and project report.
4. Project Execution:
● Project Plan:
■ First prepare a synopsis on proper formatting guidelines.
■ Develop a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, timeline,
and key deliverables.
■ Include a Gantt chart or timeline to track progress and milestones.
● Team Roles and Responsibilities:
■ Clearly define roles and responsibilities for each team member.
■ Ensure equitable distribution of work to utilize the strengths of each
member.
● Regular Meetings:
■ Schedule regular team and supervisor meetings to discuss progress,
challenges, and next steps.
■ Document minutes of meetings to keep track of decisions and action
items.
● Progress Reports:
■ Discuss and Submit periodic progress reports to the supervisor,
highlighting achievements, challenges, and any deviations from the plan.
■ Use templates provided by the department for consistency.
● Resource Management:
■ Ensure that all necessary resources (software, hardware, literature) are
available and accessible.
■ Manage resources efficiently to avoid bottlenecks.
● Quality Assurance:
■ Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the project meets the
required standards.
■ Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and validation of outputs.
● Documentation:
■ Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
■ Ensure all documents are up-to-date and properly versioned.
● Final Review:
■ Conduct a final review of the project with the supervisor before
submission.
■ Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
● Backup and Data Security:
■ Regularly back up all project-related data.
■ Ensure data security and confidentiality, especially for sensitive
information.
● Peer Reviews:
■ Engage in peer reviews to gain different perspectives and improve the
quality of the project.
■ Provide constructive feedback to fellow students’ projects.
● Presentation Preparation:
■ Prepare a well-structured presentation highlighting the key aspects of the
project.
■ Practice the presentation to ensure clarity and confidence.
● Submission Checklist:
■ Use a checklist to ensure all deliverables are completed and submitted on
time.
■ Verify that all requirements and guidelines have been met.
