Smart Object-Avoidance Vacuum Cleaner Robot

• Objective and Scope:

The objective the Smart Object Avoidance


Vacuum Cleaner Robot project is to engineer a
cutting-edge cleaning solution that transcends
the limitations of traditional vacuum cleaners
by integrating intelligent object-avoidance
capabilities. -
This project aims to achieve the following key
goals:

➢Efficient Cleaning: Provide an automated solution


for effective and efficient cleaning of indoor
spaces.
➢Object Avoidance: Implement a system for the
robot to intelligently detect and navigate around
obstacles in its path.
➢User-Friendly Operation: Design a user-friendly
interface to control and monitor the robot,
enhancing ease of use for end-users.
➢Low-Cost Implementation: Strive for an
economical design that utilizes commonly
available components like Arduino Uno, Infrared
Sensors, Servo Motor, and DC Motors.
• Process Description:
The proposed system will utilize infrared sensors
for obstacle detection and avoidance. The robot
will be equipped with servo motors for precise
control of the cleaning mechanism and DC
motors for locomotion. The overall process
involves the following steps:

➢Initialization: Start the robot and initialize


sensors and motors.

➢Obstacle Detection: Use infrared sensors to


identify obstacles in the robot's path.

➢Navigation: Utilize servo motors to change


direction and avoid obstacles while continuing
the cleaning process.

➢Cleaning Operation: Activate the vacuum


cleaner mechanism during movement to ensure
effective cleaning
