1. INTRODUCTION:

The Online Bakery Shop is a web-based platform that allows customers to


browse, order, and purchase bakery products such as cakes, pastries, bread, and
cookies from the comfort of their homes. This system aims to digitalize bakery
businesses, offering a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience. It will
provide a convenient online platform for purchasing bakery products. And enable
customers to customize and pre-order cakes or other baked goods

2. LITERATURE SURVEY

2.1 : EXISTING SYSTEM:

In traditional bakery systems, customers visit physical stores to buy


products, which has several limitations:

1. Limited Reach – Customers must be physically present, restricting sales to


audience.
2. Manual Order Processing – Orders are taken over the counter or phone,
leading to errors and inefficiencies.
3. No Online Payment – Most traditional bakeries rely on cash or card
payments in-store.
4. Inventory Management Issues – Bakery owners manually track stock,
leading to wastage or shortages.
2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The proposed Online Bakery Shop system overcomes the limitations of the
traditional system by offering a digital, automated platform with features such as:

transactions via credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets.

4. Inventory & Stock Management – Automated stock tracking helps


manage product availability efficiently.

5. Customized Orders – Customers can personalize cakes and other bakery


items before ordering.

6. Admin Dashboard – The bakery owner can manage orders, update


products, and generate sales reports.

7. Customer Feedback & Reviews – Customers can rate and review


products, improving quality and engagement
