6.1 Creating SOFA 1

Create 2D plan for sofa in TOP View Port (A)

Command: Click RECTANGLE


In Drawing Space: Click /drag/ type @1000,1000/ enter (A)
B @ -200, 1000, C @200, 1000, D @1000, 200 (Fig. 1)

Note: The Value for X, Y, Z format is being used based on the


Coordinates.

Command: EXTRUDE

In the drawing space activate SW viewport/ set the coordinates
TOP / select EXTRUDE from the modelling menu panel

Command Line: Select object to extrude

In Drawing Space: select rectangle A enter/ drag upward
Command Line: Specify the height/ Type 300/ enter (Fig.2)

Use the same procedure for B, C and D use the M
for B and C height = 600, for D height = 900 (Fig. 3)

Command: Click MOVE (Modify Tab)

6.2. Creating SOFA 2

Use dimension 2500 x 1000 and follow the same


procedure as in SOFA 1

6.3 Creating Throw Pillows

Command: Create Circle on TOP View Port in


Sofa 2 object

Command: Circle / R = 800 (Fig. 7)

Note: Movement of the object should be in FRONT View since moving the object toward Left
side the value of X should be negative (-), for Y value it is upward therefore it should be
positive, the value of Z is zero since moving is in FRONT VIEW.

Click Copy icon in modify panel

Command Line: Select object to copy


In drawing space: Click the object / enter
Command Line: Specify the basepoint or displacement

Get the midpoint for both vertical and horizontal

In the drawing space: Click center point of rectangle / drag
At point B and drag at point A / Enter (ellipse 1)
