1. A department of a company has five employees with five jobs to be performed. The time (in
hours ) that each man takes to perform each job is given in the effectiveness matrix.

2. A national truck rental services has a surplus of one truck in each of the cities, C1, C2, C3,
C4, C5, and C6 and a deficit of one truck in each of the cities C7,C8,C9,C10,C11 and C12.
The distance (in kilometers) between the cities with a surplus and cities with deficit are
displayed below:
