I. INTRODUCTION
Entrepreneurship is more than just beginning a business; it is a mindset that converts ideas into
opportunities, and then into successful companies. Entrepreneurship is really about producing value for
customers, communities, and entrepreneurs themselves. Entrepreneurs are dreamers, risk-takers, and
problem solvers who identify market gaps where others see barriers. They have important attributes
including vision, passion, resilience, adaptability, risk tolerance, and leadership. These characteristics
allow them to negotiate all aspects of the entrepreneurship path, from ideation and validation to launch
and growth.
Usually, the method of entrepreneurship includes recognizing a market problem or need, testing
the idea, creating a business plan, acquiring capital, launching the product or service, and scaling the
business. Throughout this process, entrepreneurs face a variety of challenges including financial risk,
long hours, high stress levels, and the need to respond to quickly changing market conditions. Despite
these challenges, many people find the entrepreneurial journey extremely rewarding, providing
personal growth, financial independence, and the joy of making a dream a reality.
Entrepreneurs have a critical role in encouraging economic development and innovation. They
create jobs, pioneer new technology and business structures, and frequently address social and
environmental challenges through their initiatives. Entrepreneurship has an impact on all sectors of the
economy, from small local enterprises to worldwide online giants. While not everyone is cut out to be
an entrepreneur, grasping the fundamentals of entrepreneurship can be useful in any field. Whether
starting a new business, innovating within an existing one, or simply adopting a more entrepreneurial
mindset, the spirit of entrepreneurship - the desire to create value and make a difference - can be a
powerful force in attaining one's objectives.
II. DISCUSSION
1. Socorro Ramos (National Book Store)
Our story begins with a young Socorro, stepping into the world of work as a salesgirl in a
bookshop. Little did she know that this modest beginning would be the first page in an extraordinary
narrative of success. At the tender age of 19, Socorro, along with her husband, made a bold decision that
would change their lives forever. With a mere PHP200 in capital - a sum that would barely buy a textbook
today - they opened the first National Book Store in Escolta, the then-heart of Manila's business district.
The young couple's dream was simple yet ambitious: to provide books and school supplies to
children, fostering education and literacy in their community. However, their timing couldn't have been
more challenging. The store opened its doors during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines, a period
marked by strict censorship on books and publications. For many, this would have spelled the end of their
entrepreneurial journey. But not for Socorro and her husband.
Demonstrating remarkable resilience and adaptability, the couple pivoted their business strategy.
While they couldn't sell books freely, they refused to give up on their store. Instead, they diversified their
inventory, selling essential items like soap and candles. This strategic move not only kept their business
afloat during the trying times of war but also laid the foundation for the diverse range of products

Maximo, 57, is a dedicated health and wellness advocate who has dedicated his life to helping
others improve their well-being. He is the proud seller of barley, a natural grain recognized for its
tremendous healing capabilities and capacity to improve the body's energy. With years of experience in
the health sector, Maximo has witnessed firsthand how barley can refuel the body, boost immunity, and
promote general health, making it a reliable cure for people seeking a natural approach to wellbeing.
His purpose is to spread the transforming advantages of barley to as many people as possible.
Maximo, a 57-year-old health passionate, has made a living and fulfilled his dreams as a
natural health product reseller for Santé Barley, a supplement recognized for its healing qualities and
ability for enhancing general health. His business path began upon realizing the numerous advantages
of barley, which inspired him to not only consume the grain but also to distribute it to others. John
entered the reselling of Santé Barley company because he was passionate about health and wanted to

pesos as his greatest profit. Thanks to these financial gains, Maximo has been able to market a product
he truly believes in and generate a consistent earnings flow. His goal as a reseller is to improve other
people's health in addition to making a profit.
Maximo thinks that success comes from focusing on the present and grabbing opportunities as
they arise, even though the future is unpredictable. His straightforward but meaningful advise to
prospective entrepreneurs is to "go for it and take the risk." Maximo encourages people to trust in their
path, embrace the unknown, and take risks because they can only completely know what is ahead if

My neighbor, 63-year-old Lorieta Bitaga, is the proud owner of a little business close to my
house. She started her entrepreneurial adventure in 2019 with a strong sense of passion and dedication,
making her goal a reality. It's never too late to follow one's aspirations because of Lorieta's dedication
to her community and business, even at her advanced age. Her company is proof of her tenacity and
commitment, encouraging people around her to take risky moves in the direction of their own goals.
Lorieta Bitaga, who is 63 years old, is a bright example of a determined and enterprising
person. She made the decision to launch her own business in 2019, which is currently well-known in
the community as Lorieta's Small Business. Even though Lorieta started her business later in life, it is a
testament to her dedication and excellent financial planning.
It's not easy to run a tiny business in a competitive sector, but Lorieta has kept her earnings
consistent. Her daily earnings range from 500 pesos to 1,500 pesos on average. These profits show that
her efforts have been successful because they enable her to maintain and steadily expand her business.
Lorieta credits careful preparation and resource management, constantly concentrating on optimizing
her profits without sacrificing quality, for her financial success.
Lorieta provides clear and helpful advice to would-be business owners: "Know how to
maximize the use of money for the business." She highlights the significance of making wise financial
decisions, especially when it comes to budgeting and reinvesting in the business's growth. Lorieta
asserts that smart financial management and resource allocation are essential to sustaining a profitable
company. Her experience serves as a reminder that anyone can be successful in the field of
entrepreneurship if they have perseverance, prudent money management, and a growth-oriented
mindset.
IV. INTRODUCTION
53-year-old businesswoman Fhely Mandigma makes her living mostly from her sari-sari store,
which she has been operating since 2019. Her neighborhood now relies heavily on her little business to
supply essentials and convenience items. Despite the difficulties, Fhely's store is still successful and her
family is supported by her commitment and dedication.
V. DISCUSSION (INTERVIEW)
Fhely Mandigma, 53, is the owner of Mandigma's Sari-Sari Store, a small but successful
sari-sari business. Since its founding in 2019, this side project has grown to be her main source of daily
income, allowing her to support her family and maintain her financial independence. Even with its
hidden location close to the Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative, Fhely's business is still a
community center, providing necessities to customers who depend on its accessibility.
Depending on the volume of business, Fhely's profits can range from a minimum of 500 pesos
to a high of 1,000 pesos every day. Despite the challenges presented by the store's remote location, her
commitment to her business has allowed her to consistently generate profits. Her determination in
conquering the obstacles to her store's exposure has enabled her to build up loyal customers in the
neighborhood.
Her guidance for prospective entrepreneurs is based on experience and prudence. Fhely wants
to give people who are starting their own enterprises the lesson that lending money without strict terms
can lead to financial issues. She says, "Be careful of those who borrow money from you because they
might be the cause of your downfall." Fhely uses her experience to highlight the value of financial
responsibility and earning protection in order to maintain stable and sustainable business growth.
VII. INTRODUCTION
A 49-year-old businesswoman named Cresenciana Macuha started her own tiny puto making
business. In 2018, she started her search by learning how to make puto using internet instructions. A
quick learner, Cresenciana became an expert in the field and made a successful business out of her
newly acquired talent. Her dedication is now well-known in the community because of her commitment
and the abilities she developed with the help of online learning.
This motivated businesswoman's journey started with a straightforward goal: to make delicious
foods for her family. She made a variety of sweets every day and gave them to her loved ones. Her
family drove her to pursue her passion as a business after noticing the excellence and appeal of her
designs. She turned her kitchen into a small production hub with their continuous support, hoping to
