Cooperating School: CAMP VICENTE LIM INTEGRATED SCHOOL
Subject: ENGLISH 10 AND PRACTICAL RESEARCH 1

OBSERVATION REPORT
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
How does the teacher manage the class considering the following aspects?
1.Organizational Plan
First thing First, respecting those who are above and below your position
and becoming obedient about the task at hand
2.Schedule
Making notes and trying to comply with the time-on-task schedule to ease
the burden of having missed tasks.
3.Record Keeping
Organizing everything, creating a file name for every record.
4.Physical Environment
Having organized a reliable set of officers and leaders to oversee the
cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom.
5.Discipline
Letting them understand the set of rules given at the very first day of
school year.
6.Routines
Becoming firm with the routine and adjusting right away if needed.

YOUR ANALYSIS
1. In what area of classroom management was the teacher most effective?
When the teacher tells the students to keep quiet and tells them to listen
to what the teacher teaches.
2. Was there an area where the teacher was least effective?
When the teacher lets the student be noisy while she is still teaching.
3. Suggest other ways that may address the concern in the previous question.
Don't let her students be noisy when she is still in front of the class.
YOUR REFLECTIONS

1. Describe at least 3-5 characteristics of a teacher who can establish a well-managed

classroom.
·Fairness: She looks at both sides issues before making judgment, gives equal chances for
both sides to be heard, and removes personal biases.
·Self-confidence: she can work alone and can be independent in every task that is assigned
to her.
· Emotional stability: she has an ability to be calm under pressure.
·Innovativeness: She creates new things, is imaginative, finds solutions to problems quickly,
and makes use of available materials.
2. What characteristics do you have at present that can make you an effective classroom
manager? How can these characteristics help you?
·Fairness
·Compassion
·Emotional stability
·Reliability
·coop
3. What characteristics do you have at present that can hamper you from becoming an
effective classroom manager? How can you overcome these characteristics?
·Inconsistency: If a teacher is inconsistent with rules and consequences, it creates
confusion and undermines their authority.
·Lack of Clear Expectations: Students need to know exactly what is expected of them in
terms of behavior, work habits, and participation. Unclear expectations lead to
misunderstandings and misbehavior.
·Poor Time Management: If a teacher struggles to manage time effectively, it can lead to
rushed lessons, unfinished activities, and a chaotic classroom environment.
·Lack of Engagement Strategies: A teacher who relies on passive learning methods or fails
to capture students' attention is more likely to face management challenges.
·Lack of Positive Reinforcement: Focusing solely on negative consequences can create a
negative classroom atmosphere. I can use positive reinforcement to encourage good
behavior and build a sense of community.
·Lack of Collaboration: Effective classroom management often involves working with
colleagues, administrators, and parents. A teacher who is unwilling to collaborate or seek
support is less likely to find success.
·Personal Issues: Stress, burnout, or personal problems can impact a teacher's ability to
manage their classroom effectively. It's important to prioritize self-care and seek support
when needed.
·Effective classroom management is a skill that takes time and practice to develop. By
working on these areas and seeking professional development, I can create a positive and
productive learning environment for all students.
