Web-Base Concepts & Technology

Web based Concept is one semester three credit hour course. The course aims at gearing towards
information providers and web developers who wish to acquire a solid background in the
standards, protocols and technologies needed to operate professional and commercial websites.

B. Course Objectives

1.1 Once passed, the students have

• Explored broad range of client and server-based technologies needed to build dynamic,
interactive and scalable web applications.
• Understood the underlying protocols behind current web technologies.
• Understood how to Install WAMP/XAMP.
• Understood the use of HTML in Web page design.
• Understood how to design forms.
• Understood the use of PHP to create dynamic and interactive web page.
• Understood the role of MySQL in web based design.
