So the reason for this call back sir/madam is


Due to …. receiving a call earlier on this morning, where an attempt to set up a
direct debit to payee Abdul Mohammed Nasim was made.

For the recorded call can you confirm whether you have attempted to set up a direct
debit today?

During this call they were able to state your full name And your date of birth.
But when asked more security question such as your full address they were unable to
state the same address we have on the system for the account holder.
They were then asked to come into the local branch with ID to confirm this
transaction, which they said they were unable to do so and disconnected the line.
Hence why we scheduled a call wtith you today to confirm whether this was you
sir/madam.

Have you lost your card within the last 48hours


Have you filled out any sort of form from any business or company in the last week
or so

We have seen an increase in what is known as fishing scam. where fraudsters can get
a hold your credentials if you fill out forms .

This information is normally used to access or reset your online banking. And they
can also use those details to call the bank impersonating

yourself using your details to confirm transactions over the phone.

So madam/sir are you sure you didn’t fill out any sort of form from any sort of
company because when they called us this morning they were able to provide us with
all your credentials including your sorting code and account number

Okay as this wasn’t you sir I’m going to just go through some verifications with
you and your device, if you fail to pass security we may put a temporary safeguard
on your account and we will have to stop any access to your accounts.

Please understand that because they were able to confirm all your credentials we
will have to fit you through a different security in order to secure the account

Okay sir I’m just going to pass you through electronic verification, it’s just the
best way to fit you through security without confirming for any personal or
sensitive information okay.
