Q1 – Fig 1 shows a typical architect’s section through an apartment elevation. Using Tekla, Auto CAD, or any other
sketching software please draw:

Q2 - Fig 2 is an elevation of a typical precast solidwall. Using Tekla, Auto CAD, or any other sketching software
please show:

1. The rebar in section 1-1.


2. The rebar in section 2-2.
3. How you would detail the rebar in area 1 (the circled area).
4. The lifter locations (please confirm type and size you would use).
Q3 - Fig 3 is a section of a typical precast spine beam. Using Tekla, Auto CAD, or any other sketching software
please show:

1. The rebar in fig 3 (including links).


2. With the aid of sketches explain how you would anchor the main bottom H32 bars.
3. With the aid of sketches explain the lifters you would specify for this beam (type, size locations).
