Since the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis hit, our whole lifestyle has been moved on different
online platforms. With many ample people under lockdown round the world,
telecommunication goes up. People I’ve spoken to own been connecting in new social ways,
hosting virtual happy hours and reunions with friends who haven’t connected in decades.
People are hanging out on FaceTime while functioning on separate projects (almost as if they
were in a very coffee shop). Under normal circumstances, we tend to show to friends and
family when there’s a way of urgency or crisis, And since many people are bring to a halt
from normal social interaction, we are choosing voice and video calls because the next
smartest thing. (Wen, 2020)
Even though online shopping has been around for years – actually, decades – it’s only
become truly mainstream recently. Amazon has been around since the mid-’90s, but by even
2010 within the US, online shopping only made up just over 6% of all retail sales and the
demand has now boosted up very high. Before Covid-19, looking forward to the web for
shopping hadn't been so ingrained in our day-to-day lives. a pair of decades ago, online
shopping was a novelty, even as the net itself still was. While online shopping started off as a
requirement amid social distancing measures and contagion fears, there could also be no
going back from the new normal of retail – especially now that customers see how doable,
easy and fast it's, now that they’ve been forced to try to do it. (Lufkin, 2020)
The novel corona virus became a challenge for teachers as well as students as the education
was conducted on online platform like zoom. Teachers were given basic training session ton
how to conduct online classes. But eventually both teachers and students have became
comfortable with the method and now it has become easier for them to take or attend sessions
in their comfort zone. Recorded sessions are also available through which students can revise
and study. This has brought much ease to the education.
