P u r p o s e

Use this procedure for rescheduling an existing Project with reference to WBS elements of the network
(Activity scheduling if required has to be done manually)

Purpose: An existing Project has to be rescheduled due to reasons like delay in Procurement, delay in advance payment
receipt or request from client of Rochem

Let us reschedule this Project released partially

Step 1: Tcode CJ21

Shifting Project definition and Project WBS to the new dates

Existing Project schedule is as under:

Click on WBS Basic data

Click on Go to -> Project definition

Here we have 2 options namely

1. Change the start date and end date (not advisable)


2. Change only the end date – this is a better option to keep track of initial start date

Going with option 2 above change the Finished date alone to 05.07.2016

Click on go back to reschedule the WBS elements

Step 2: Scheduling WBS elements in line with Project Definition (if revised dates of WBS elements are not within Project
Definition end date system will not permit to reschedule the WBS elements)

Scenario – Design phase got delayed and hence WBS elements have to be rescheduled (Design Phase start date should
not be changed)

Now go to Project Builder CJ20N and note the change of dates of WBS elements (that is rescheduling at WBS elements
level).

Network dates and activity dates if required (when requirement dates of activities to decide the date of PRs in MRP Run)
have to be reset manually in Project Builder itself
