House renting

Agent: Hello, thank you for contacting Blue Rentals, how can I help you?

Client: Oh yes, I’m calling just to make enquiries about renting property and I accidentally came
across a listing on your website.

Agent: That’s so nice of you to say so. What can I offer?

Client: I’d like to find out more details about house renting, a house in particular

Agent: Of course. Do you have anything to require about this new accommodation?

Client: Hmmm. Let me see. Oh yes, I really love sports, so my house must be near a sports center or a
gym, anywhere that’s allow me to do sports.

Agent. Oh wow. I’ll put it down. Anything else you want to mention?

Client: Yes. It would be better if it could have a garage or near parking lots. I have a car and I don’t
want to go so far just to pick up it.

And, one more thing. I lived with family so I would prefer if it’s have 2 bedrooms with double-
bedded.

Agent. Very detailed, thank you. Let me see if we can find any houses that suits you. May I ask what
is your budget?

Client: oh,.. About 1200$ each month

Agent: Please wait for a minute. Right. We have a pretty house in Boston, 2 bedrooms with a garage.
But,.. unfortunately this is 10 kilometres away from a nearest sports centre. Is it to your liking?

Client: Sorry, I think finding somewhere near a sports center is important to me

Agent: Right. Oh, we also offer a house in Texas, also 2 bedrooms, a garage and 100 metres from a
sports cantre. Unfortunately, the standard of living there is pretty high so,… Could you raise your
budget a little bit? For about 1350$ a month perhaps.

Client: Alright, I think it’s okay for me.

Agent: Great! I have arranged for the tenant to leave the property on Friday so I can show the house
to prospective renters. Would you be able to make that day?

CLIENT : Yes, I’m sure I could come on my lunch break. Would 1 o’clock be OK?

Agent: I’m afraid that I have a meeting at 12:30, so I won’t be able to make that time. I’m availible at
10:00

Client: In that case can we schedule in 10:30

Agent: No problem, I’ll write it in my schedule. And I’ll send you more details through your email
address. Do you want to ask anything else?

Client: I think not. Thank you for your help. See you on Friday!
