1.0 Rationale
Large-scale industries are complex organizations that require effective management to ensure
smooth and profitable operations. Management principles such as planning, organizing,
staffing, leading, and controlling form the foundation of every successful enterprise. Studying
how these principles are practically applied helps students connect theoretical concepts with
real industrial practices.
This project was undertaken to understand how large enterprises implement these principles in
managing their diverse operations, large workforce, and global presence. It also helps in
identifying the tools and strategies used by companies to adapt to dynamic business
environments, technological changes, and competitive markets
To explore and analyze the practical application of fundamental and modern management
principles in large-scale industries through case studies and literature review.
