Brief Introduction:

LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, a flat panel technology commonly used in electronic
devices such as TVs, monitors, and smartphones. It utilizes liquid crystals that change
orientation in response to an applied electric voltage, controlling the passage of light through
the display.
The main types of LCDs include:
Twisted Nematic (TN). TN displays offer fast response times but limited viewing angles
In-Plane Switching (IPS). IPS panels provide superior color accuracy and wider viewing
angles.
Vertical Alignment (VA). VA displays offer high contrast ratios
Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). OLED displays feature individually lit pixels for
vibrant colors and true blacks.
