Topic: space exploration

Scope: advancement of humanity - waste of valuable resources (natural

resources, money..)

Nowaday, some people think that it is important to spend resources on space

exploration to bring benefits for humanity. However, many people argue that
it is a waste of money that should be spent to solve issues on Earth. In my
opinion, I think that it is more beneficial than harmful.

The main argument against space exploration is the huge cost involved in
these projects. Building and maintaining research stations require a
significant amount of money because of the long distance between Earth and
outer spaces. Moreover, after a long time of investing in many projects, the
main goals of exploring new resources or planets have been achieved yet.
This investment, therefore, should be spent on many urgent issues on Earth
such as healthcare and environmental pollution that still remain unresolved.

A significant benefit of investing in space exploration is the development in

science and technology. The grand goal of space efforts inspire many people
to pursue STEM, and the innovations in these fields and directly enhance the
quality of life on Earth. For example, space agencies like NASA and SpaceX
have motivated young people to study subjects such as astrophysics,
robotics, and aerospace engineering, ultimately driving innovation in these
areas. In fact, many technologies that we are using now such as GPS or
satellite TV are the result of space science.

In conclusion, while space exploration demands a huge financial investment,

its benefits are more outweigh its costs. It drives advancements in science
and technology, ensures humanity's survival by creating many innovations in
these fileds.
