Online Auction management system is a web-based application which will help


users to buy or sell item; they can trade anything they want by posting ad. This
application will allow users to post their products for auction; bidder can register
and can bid for any available product.

Project Objective:

The main aim is to develop an online auction system which will provide a forum
for sellers to meet and interact with buyers and sell items to interested bidders.
Create an online forum where bidders auction for items posted by the seller
through the online system. Create a panel whereby a seller receives requests
from a buyer and sends back feedback, an answer to a question or requests to
meet the bidder. In addition, to implement and test the workability of the newly
developed system. It will include different processes like database creation,
website creation, documentation, architectural design, testing etc.

Socio-economic Benefits:

MORE BUYERS. Because of conflicts, distance and timing, there is a much larger
audience willing to participate in an online auction.

LARGER REACH. Online auctions reach buyers from around the country.

MORE CONVENIENT.

LESS STRESSFUL.

MORE COST EFFECTIVE.

Project Methodology:

An online auction project that holds online auctions of various products on a


website and serves sellers and bidders accordingly. The system is designed
to allow users to set up their products for auctions and bidders to register and
bid for various products available for bidding.

Project Outcome:
This system is designed as an online web-based application which shall be
accessed by any device, either a computer, tablet, iPad, iPhone, mobile phone
or PDAs. System is targeted to serve the whole country where more business
enterprises shall have access to the system. The scope of this application to
build a user-friendly auctioning website, where user will be able to auction any
product which is available nearby or anywhere.
