All diploma students are required to undergo industrial training for 6 weeks as a part of
curriculum to complete that after 4th semester of diploma. Industrial training is an important phase
of a students life. Training is acquiring skills and increasing the knowledge to do a specific job.
The main object of all industrial training is to prepare people to perform efficiently their own
particular tasks or to do another job quality well. Training prepares an individual so that one can
accomplish his industrial task, efficiently and effectively.
Industrial Training provides required professional and practical skills to the students. so, it
is very important for the student. This is an essential part in the development of the practical and
professional skills required of an engineer and an aid to prospective employment. for this training,
I am joined company, Sunbeam Institute of Information Technology, Karad. There we learnt Web
Development and prepare project for it.
The industrial training enables students to go out and gain more practical knowledge of
what they have been taught in school and to acquire industry bases skills.

Introduction of Industry
For Industrial Training of six week after completion of second year, we joined software
company “Sunbeam Institute of Information Technology” at Karad. At Sunbeam we believe
retaining a competitive edge is imperative for any individual in today's professional world.
Companies are restructuring their organizations & reengineering their business processes. Not only
have the challenges become more demanding, but also the rewards of staying at the forefront seem
to be promising.
In this scenario, technical & personal skills which provide effective solutions & time
critical support are of principal significance for the long term growth of professionals. Sunbeam's
expertise in effectively delivering training, solutions & services has made it a favored institution

Type of major equipments used in Industry
In order to provide the training on open source software, the “Sunbeam Institute of Information
Technology ” was founded. In this company, total working is done with laptops and computers.
Also they are developing websites using Web Development. For this training, use dell computer
system their specifications are as follows:

This is the example of the specification of laptops and Computers used in Industry. Same
as this dell inspiron another system also have samiliar specifications. Also the developer and
trainers used their laptops for working. This equipments used in research, production, distribution,
marketing, banking, team management, business automation, data storage, employees management
and very helpful to increase the productivity in lower cost, less time with high quality. That's why
the use of the computer is important in business. Computers can be designed to do almost anything
with information. Computers are said to control large and small machines which in the past were
controlled by humans.
They also take routine Maintenance of that machine because routine maintenance for a computer
involves taking regular steps that make your computer faster, more secure.
Production planning and control is concerned with implementing the plans, i.e. the detailed
scheduling, assigning of workloads to machines (and people), and the actual flow of work through
the system. In industry, with proper developing process software will be develop.

In our Industry, overall working done using the computers and laptops. There are various health
problems associated with the regular use of computers. For this reason, employers must be aware
of the regulations surrounding computer health and safety. Hence, we have to take some
precautions for it. List of safety precautions taken in Industry are as following :

Industrial raining is very helpful for us. I have wonderful experience in this training. Web
Development workshop has benefited me a lot. Concepts are easy to understand because of easy
explination by guidance of Prashant Lad (Center Coordinator) and Pratik Ninganur (Project
Guide). Explanation made by putting real time examples.
Now a days, In the jungle web development is most popular in Industry. PHP and HTML is useful
programming language. This programming language is often used for general purpose
programming. This Language is Gaining huge popularity, therefore; the need to understand and
know the language. Hence we give the preference to python language. And with learning this
language, we have wonderful experience about new language HTML , PHP and with this training
period all basic concepts cleared.
While doing the Industrial Training we learn proper time management and task
Management. Also increased our supreme Communication skill. In industry, we achieved quick
learning ability and Problem Solving ability is developed due to work on Project. Confidence
around a computer and industry created. I am glad that I’ve taken industrial training via Sunbeam
Institutes of Information Technology. We learnt a lot about HTML and PHP. This training gives
great learning experience.

Project Report
1.0 Rationale:
This is an internet based system that overcomes the issue of managing and booking
appointments according to visitors (for e.g. patients, customers) choice or requirements. The task
sometimes becomes very tedious for the compounder or doctor himself in manually allotting
appointments for the visitors as per their availability. The Online Appointment System provides
the power of direct interaction between visitors and any person choice as and when required for
your small problems. It can also enable visitor to upload their results which can be viewed by
visitors referred respective person. It can also maintain available appointment time, book
appointment, cancel appointment, and view his appointment history

4.0 Actual Methodology Followed:
The title our project Online Appointment System. We use internet to Give
appointment. For making this project first we collect all the information of our project. We
discussed on our project topic with group member by this project we use different PHP
methods. Such as Array, Function, Control Statement, inheritance, Constructor, Destructor,
Database etc In PHP tag. We also use html tags for design form.
We design form tag with its form element such as textbox, text area, button,
filed set, radio button, checkbox etc. This form element design using input tag. In this
system we define following modules: 1. Registration:
In the registration module, visitors fill up a registration form and confirm
appointment with any one person.
2. Login module:
In the login module, visitor’s login with username and password
provided by system and confirms appointment.
3. Cancel appointment:
In this module, visitor’s login account and using cancel appointment
button they cancel their appointment.

• The online appointment system also provides the feature to confirm the appointments
through reminders.
• An online appointment system is a software that contain tools and features that help the
businesses in scheduling meetings and bookings with customers.
• The online appointment booking software, these tools aid businesses in automating the
process of scheduling meetings with customers to provide business services.
• In future the online appointment system is higher and for that there should be much more
reliable and user friendly interface and websites.
Chapter 9
Special challenging Experiences encountered during training
While doing training, we faced different things. We realized there, that we have some duties
and responsibilities for working in proper manner. Internship challenges do hit hard because it is
the first time that we are in such environment and also aren’t very familiar with work-life issues.
Reaching late for classes or another work may be tolerated by others but in professional
workspace it isn’t acceptable and hence managing time can be really difficult for you. A balance
between work, academics and personal life also seems to be a challenge. Hence, self management
can achieved. In this training, we learnt various things. The different tasks assign us to perform.
Hence, solving that tasks properly and completed in particular time is the challenge faced in
company.
