1. Welcome & Icebreaker Introductions (15-20 mins)

Activity: "Two Truths and a Lie - Advanced Style"

verbs, or unusual vocabulary).

- Example: "I've backpacked through five countries." / "I once met a celebrity at the airport." / "I can speak

four languages fluently."

- Class guesses the false one and asks follow-up questions.

Teacher Tip: Observe fluency, vocabulary range, interaction style, and confidence.

2. Class Discussion: Why Are You Here? (10-15 mins)

Goal: Discover students' goals and motivations.

Prompt students to discuss:

- Why are you studying English at C1 level?

- What do you find most difficult?

- What kind of real-life situations do you use English for?

Variation: Use a digital whiteboard or Mentimeter if available for anonymous sharing.
