SRMIST, ranked one of the top universities in India, is not only known for its academic excellence but
also for its wide participation in extra curricular activities. The global standards of our institute in the
field of technology and innovation spur us on in our relentless pursuit of excellence. We are
fortunate enough to be a part of an institution that prioritizes our needs before anything else!

Our organisation, IT Association, is one of the most functional associations of the institute and it also
is the on-campus hub of talents. We are strong believers of our motto “together with a vision
towards transformation."

ABOUT HACKATHON
SRM HACKATHON is a national level event that provides the techies as well as the newbies an
excellent exposure to the corporate world and an impeccable platform to implement their out of the
box ideas. It mainly focuses on the themes that can have a civilizing effect on the lives of people.
Projects developed particularly on our themes can make the world a better place to live in! On the
spot internships will be provided to some of the best ideas by different companies. Last year we
witnessed a humongous participation of more than 1500 people coming from cities like Delhi,
Mumbai , Bangalore and Pune, with some working in top MNCs. This year the 3rd edition of SRM
HACKATHON will be 3 times more exhilarating and we aim to nurture ideas that can change the
world for the better and reward the participants with handsome rewards!

ABOUT HACKATHON 2.0


Hackathon in its previous edition, witnessed models that had the ability to revolutionize some of the
most basic tasks. These ideas took shape, as a result of the astounding imagination and dedication of
the minds behind them.

Imagine a Virtual DJ software that is able to switch songs and add effects to them just at the snap of
one's finger-tips, or an AR and VR Colouring Book app that augments two different dimensional
worlds where any changes made in one are reflected in the other, or an M-AI Car that can auto-
detect lanes and drive itself with barely any human assistance. Ideas like these were shaped into
reality and hence emerged as milestones in the previous edition of the SRM Hackathon.

technical skills of the participants to provide solutions to real world problems using them.

Sponsors are the backbone and the key to making an event a successful one. Unlike any such event

ABOUT ITA
We represent IT Association, a departmental association of SRM Institute of Science and
Technology,Kattankulathur. The institute located at the outskirts of Chennai, is a multidisciplinary
institute which enjoys the diversity of over 50,000 students belonging to different cultures .The IT
Association is one of the oldest and the most active organization of the institute which works
towards development and betterment of students and society in various ways possible. We shall be
highly privileged to partner with your company for the same. Details about our association have
been explained in the given attachments. A proposed partnership plan has also been attached. We
would like to discuss the possible partnerships on the call or meet in person if possible.
