RoboCup is a project-oriented educational competition for

students, that focuses on providing a hands-on, scaffolded environment
where learners can grow by expanding their knowledge of, sparking their
curiosity about, and increasing their comfort with technology. The 3
challenges each emphasize cooperative problem-solving; each is designed
to reach creative young minds with a range of interests, and skills.

RESCUE Physical Robots or through simulation identify victims within

re-created disaster scenarios, varying in complexity from line-
following on a flat surface to negotiating paths through
obstacles on uneven terrain

SOCCER Teams of autonomous mobile robots play soccer in a highly

dynamic environment that mimics a real soccer field

ONSTAGE One or more robots come together with humans, dressed in

costume and moving in creative, interactive and collaborative
ways.

WRO UAE is the national version of the international World Olympiad, which
is a prominent technology event for students to showcase their technical skills and
take part in an excellent learning experience that develops their capabilities and skills.

ROBOMISSION A challenge-based competition. Students must design, construct and

program their robots to traverse and solve specific challenges on a field
within a set amount of time.

FUTURE A project-based competition. Students create their own innovative

intelligent robotics solution relating to the current theme of the season.
INNOVATORS Teams present their project and robot to a group of judges on the
competition day.

ROBOSPORT Teams design robots that compete with robots of another team. In a
match two teams each have 2 robots on the field. The robots are coded
to play the game autonomously and collaborate with each other where
possible.

FUTURE Is a self-driving car competition. Students will design a model car, equip
it with electromechanical components, and program it so it will be able
ENGINEERS to autonomously drive on a track and avoid obstacles.

several math questions (algebra, calculus...).

GIMP free and open-source software for image editing and manipulation
(like Adobe Photoshop). Students are given a series of photos and
the same photos with different manipulations that they must
produce identically.

RUBIK The Rubik's Cube is not just a fun, non-electronic gaming device,
but an amazing cube that challenges many human organs: Hands,
CUBE eyes, brain, memory.

INKSCAPE Inkscape is a free and open-source vector graphics. Students are

given a series of illustrations which they must produce identically.

VIDEOGRAPHY The student media team covers the event and produces short video
(1-3 minutes) and presents it to the judges. Team participation is
