Activity Title: "Exploring Disk Management”

Objective:
Students will understand key concepts of disk management and apply these skills to perform
basic operations like partitioning, formatting, and optimizing disk storage.

 Handouts summarizing key terms: partitioning, file systems, defragmentation
 Pre-installed Disk Management tool or screenshots of the tool for offline use

Activity Breakdown:

1. Introduction (5 minutes)

 Begin with a brief discussion about disk management.


 Ask students:
o "Why is it important to manage storage effectively?"
o "What happens if disk health is ignored?"
 Explain the purpose and tools in disk management, referencing concepts from the PPT
