Teacher asks students to get into Group work groups of 4 and has students prepare Open class two What if situations on a separate piece of paper. Teacher asks students to employ first and second conditionals. Next, students exchange their prepared situations with another group. Students in each group discuss the "what if..." situations. T. moves about the class and helps students - especially concentrating on the correct production of the first and second conditional forms. When they have finished, one student in each group presents the situation to the class. Teacher invites students to make Open class statements about themselves. Individual Teacher gives each student handout work 3. They have to complete the sentences individually so as to write personalised statements. Teacher gives them time to read all the beginnings of the sentences. Then, teacher gives each student a number, from 1 to 12. There are 12 sentences and 29 students. Each student writes the ending for the sentence corresponding to his/her number. Students have 3 minutes to write the ending. Then students with the same number read their sentences aloud in pairs. Students have to finish all the sentences at home.
