Identify and generate Pythagorean triplets

Apply Pythagoras' Theorem to calculate the lengths of sides in right-angled triangles in


real-world contexts.
Find the distance between two points located on the Cartesian plane using the
distance formula.

Find the midpoint of a line segment using the midpoint formula.


Determining whether or not the given shapes are similar

Identify and prove the similarity of the triangles using appropriate postulates
Use similarity to explore the constancy of sine, cosine, and tangent ratios

Apply trigonometric ratios to solve right-angled triangle problems, including angles of


elevation and depression.
Understand and apply the inverse of trigonometric ratio to find unknown angles in
right-angled triangles using a calculator
