Aim This module teaches about the functions, working and application of basic
electrical and electronic components.
It is essential for a Computer Engineering graduate to understand the basic
concepts of Electrical and Electronics engineering. Computer engineering
Rationale deals with the study of hardware and the software components. To have a
good understanding of the hardware components, it is essential to study the
basic functions and working of the electrical and electronic components, as
the electrical and electronic components make up the hardware components.
