Workmanship – 30%

 with artistic quality and careful planning(10 Points)

 with accurate measurements (10 points)

 worth the time, effort and expenses incurred in constructing (10


points)

Mathematical Application – 35%

 conic sections are complete: circle, parabola, ellipse, hyperbola


(10 points)

 mathematical computations/equations are accurate (10 points)

 properties and parts of the conic sections are reflected in the


output (10 points)

 level of mathematical application exceeds expectations (5


points)

Oral Defense – 25%

 presenters provide logical and substantial response to questions


given (10 points)

 presenters demonstrate excellent understanding of the concept


(10 points)

 presentation is smooth and organized (5 points)

Creativity – 10%

 shows innovativeness in concept development (5 points)

 shows uniqueness (5 points)
