Project Report Preparation Guidelines and Contents:
Comprehensive report preparation about the project is the requisite for every student. The format for the
report is prescribed below. It is important that you adhere to these guidelines.
1. ARRANGEMENT OF CONTENTS:
The sequence in which the project report material should be arranged and bound should be as follows:
 Title page (with name of team member and mentor teacher)
 Certificate
 Sponsor’s Certificate / Completion Certificate (if applicable)
 Achievement / Participation Certificate(s) (If applicable)
 Acknowledgment
 Abstract (in one paragraph not more than 150 words)
 Table of contents
 Index of Figures & Index of Tables (if applicable)

3. PAGE DIMENSION AND BINDING SPECIFICATIONS:


The dimension of the project report should be in A4 size. One copy of the report should be submitted to
department and each Project Group members shall have a copy.

4. PREPARATION FORMAT:

4.1 Title Page- A specimen copy of the Title page is given in Appendix 1a.
4.2 General Instructions for preparing the report contents.

9. References / Bibliography
 The listing of references should be typed 2 spaces below the heading REFERENCES” in
alphabetical order in single spacing justified alignment.
 Should be numbered consecutively in square [] brackets, throughout the text and should be
collected together in the reference list at the end of your report.
 The references should be numbered in the order they are used in the text. The name of the
author/authors should be immediately followed by the year and other details.
 URL must be in Italics.

The Smart Stick for Blind People with Mobile App Integration aims to enhance mobility and
independence for visually impaired individuals. This innovative device is equipped with sensors to detect
obstacles, water, and uneven surfaces, while the mobile application provides real-time navigation, emergency
assistance, and location sharing. By leveraging IoT and sensor technology, the system addresses accessibility
challenges, offering a comprehensive solution for a safer and more navigable environment.
