Assignment 2
Problem 1. Find the values of the unspecified quantities (shown in color) in the circuit.

Problem 2. Describe the series-parallel relationships of the resistors.

Problem 3. Find the total resistance and current at R7.

Problem 4. Determine the total resistance and the voltage at points A, B, and C in the circuit
Problem 5. Determine the voltage at point A and B in the circuit

Problem 6. What is the voltage across each resistor in circuit? There are 10 V between A and B.

Problem 7. Determine the voltage, V7 and V8 in circuit.

Problem 8. A 12 V battery output is divided down to obtain two output voltages. Three 3.3 kOhm resistors are
used to provide the two outputs with only one output at a time loaded with 10 kOhm. Determine the output
voltages in both cases.

Problem 9. In circuit, find the following:

(a) total resistance between terminals A and B

(b) total current drawn from a 6 V source connected from A to B

Problem 10. Determine the total resistance and the voltage at points A, B, and C in the circuit of Figure 97.
