Job Description

Revv is looking for a talented SDE 2 React Web Developer to join its growing engineering
team. As an SDE 2 at Revv, the developer will take ownership of critical web platform
features, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create
scalable, efficient, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong
experience in React.js, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building top-notch user
experiences.

Responsibilities

●​ Lead the development of high-quality, responsive, and scalable web applications


using React.js and related technologies.
●​ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define
requirements, architect solutions, and deliver new features.
●​ Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.
●​ Contribute to the design and development of architecture that ensures scalability,
performance, and security.
●​ Implement best practices for coding, testing, and debugging to ensure a high-quality
product.
●​ Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and security of the web platform.
●​ Own and drive initiatives for the improvement of development processes and tools.
●​ Actively participate in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and ensuring code
quality.
●​ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in front-end technologies, particularly
React.js and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.

Requirements

●​ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


●​ Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
●​ Proven experience with state management tools like Redux, Context API, or similar
libraries.
●​ Experience integrating RESTful APIs and other back-end services into front-end
applications.
●​ Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and debugging
tools.
●​ Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Enzyme) and writing
unit/integration tests.
●​ Familiarity with version control systems, primarily Git.
●​ Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions and
handle complex challenges.
●​ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional
discussions.
●​ A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices in
software development.

Preferred Skills

●​ Experience with TypeScript and type-safe development.


●​ Knowledge of Webpack, Babel, and other build tools.
●​ Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
frameworks like Next.js.
●​ Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate with design teams.
●​ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
●​ Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
