 : Centered on the page, capitalized or in title case.
 : Centered beneath the title (you can also include contact info, but that's optional).

2.
 : Use a readable font like , size .
 : Set the margins to on all sides.
 : Use between lines to make it easier to read.
 : Indent the first line of each new paragraph by (except for the first paragraph, which typically
isn’t indented).
 : Left-aligned text (no justification).
 : Place them at the top right or bottom right corner of each page, starting from page 2.

3. (if applicable)
 : Always use quotation marks to show speech.
 : When a different character speaks, start a new paragraph.
 : Follow standard punctuation rules for dialogue. For example, if the dialogue ends with a
question mark, no comma is needed before the closing quotation mark.

4. (if applicable)
 Use a like three asterisks (***) centered on the page to indicate a scene break or shift in
time/place.

5.
 After your story ends, leave a few blank lines before your name or a "The End" message (if
desired).

6. (for manuscript submission)

 Place your name, story title, and page number in the header of each page (except the title page),
usually in the top left corner.

7.
 If submitting digitally, save your file as a or unless otherwise specified by the publication or
editor.
This layout ensures your story is easy to read and looks polished.
