Don’t Leave

Don’t leave when the stars start to sigh,

When silence curls soft in the corners of night.
Stay, even if words start to crumble like ash,
Even if time pulls us forward too fast.

Don’t go when the moon dips too low,

When the sky wears its loneliness slow.
Stay for the breath between questions and answers,
For the quiet that grows like slow-dancing branches.

Don’t leave—not just yet, not this time,

Let your shadow still echo in mine.
The door can stay closed, the lights can go dim—
Just promise you’ll stay until dreams let you in.
