2. Detailed information of academic career starting from Year 10 th / High School to the highest
qualification undertaken by the applicant mentioning Date, Month & Year of commencement &
Date, Month& Year of completion.
4. Information regarding research done on similar programs being taught in home country.
- Similar Courses available in Home Country – Give Name of the courses and universities names
[mention few universities names like IIT, IIMs, and some good leading universities ] that offer
these courses: In <country name>, we do have courses like <mention courses according the
field) However the courses are not updated to meet the industry standards. Also, the
universities lack internships and the teaching methods are more class room mode more of
theoretical based approach. There are no concepts like assignments, Essays, practical testing
etc.
- Entrance exams to be given like GATE, CAT etc.: In order to get admissions in the reputed
institutions, we have to sit for entrance exams like ICET, GATE, CAT [PG courses], EAMCET, JEE,
Medical Entrance etc. [UG Courses].
- Reservation Issues (Only for Indian Students): Our Country has lots of caste within the religion
due to which there is high caste-based reservations prevails in the education system. For
example, Universities have quotas like SC & ST, General, BC, OBC etc. Due to these the
competition is very high. For few numbers of seats lakhs of people apply due to which many
students miss the admissions by very narrow margin. Some institutions also charge huge
capitation fees.
- Limited number of seats allotted on General Category allowing high competition
- Emphasis on theoretical knowledge
- Huge gap between demand and supply as for few number of seats, large applicants are
applying
- Lack of Internships
- Name of the Course, Name of the university, Fees Charged by the university

8. Knowledge about MIT – Applicant should be able to demonstrate knowledge about the
university
- Campus Location – Both the campuses of MIT such as Melbourne & Sydney are located at the
heart of the city.
- Small Class Size – The no. of students in the class also matters. MIT has small class size giving
their students resulting in good student-teacher ratio to have effective learning process.
- Hi Tech Multimedia Labs – MIT has Hi Tech lab facilities for the students to have access to the
latest and updated technologies
- 24/7 student care services – MIT provides 24/7 student care services and hence the students
can have the feeling of having Home away from home.
- Wi Fi enabled campuses – All the campuses of MIT are Wi Fi enabled. Hence student can have
access to the online library, Moodle etc. from anywhere within the campus.
- The MIT Capstone Program helps the student to gain real work experience while opening up a
network of contacts and work opportunities. MIT has partnerships with various organizations
give the student this advantage.
- Career Development Activities includes resume preparation, job search assistance and
interview skills training which can be undertaken on an individual basis or through the many
workshops held regularly. Employment Seminars enables the student to meet future
employers who give an insight into future work opportunities. Some of these people are
business leaders who may well hold to the student’s future.
- Study Assist Program Our Study Assist Program helps you to hon and develop your study skills
to ensure you are maximizing your learning potential. Study focus points include: time
management, grammar, effective researching, oral presentations, referencing, report writing,
essay writing, exam writing, plagiarism etc.
- MIT Mentor Program The Mentor Program provides assistance to students from experienced
senior students in a specific unit of study or field. You can participate in either private
consultations or in a small group setting. You can also develop your leadership skills by
volunteering to become a mentor to your peers.

- Student activities The MIT Student Services department runs a number of recreational events
for students to attend throughout the year. Getting involved in student activities is one of the
fastest and easiest ways for students to make new friends and feel connected with MIT
community. Becoming engaged with other students creates a sense of belonging, develop and
grow outside classroom, and possibly even run across opportunities for leadership experience.
9. Awareness about the chosen program– Applicant should be able to demonstrate knowledge
about the program, total duration of the program, total number of subjects, number of core /
elective subjects, name of the key subjects, teaching outcomes and internship element if
applicable.
10. How the program will benefit the applicant in career growth?
- Mention the key subjects which will add value the skillsets in the career arena.
- Co-relate with the previous studies and how the chosen program skills will be combined
12. Detailed information on future career plans – highlighting the intended area/job title/designation
and targeted companies for employment upon returning to home country and expected salary
(please note the quoted expected salary should be realistic and based on market/industry trends).
Mention the job portal names like Monster.com, Naukri.com, Shine.com, Indeed.com
etc. – give some salary comparison international vs local degree holder and for the
positions available in the market. How international degree will be fetching good
salaried jobs.

13. Return on Investment – Correlate and give analysis in own words on - Investment made in AUD
___ to study in Australia. How the chosen program will be benefited from Cost perspective.
The cost of study a _____ program in home country would cost _____. Whereas the cost of study in
Australia is ______. However, the return on investments are high as the international degrees are always
welcomed by the employers. Secondly, the post study work opportunity and the skill sets gained from the
internship will add more benefit in my resume.
Also, most employers look forward for employees with below mentioned qualities in their employees.
With my international degree, I will develop the below given 4 key employee traits which cannot be
valued by money as it will be an intangible asset and more worth the investment I made.
1. Cross Culture Experience, 2. Managerial Ability, 3. Strategic international understanding & 4.
Substantial technical and content knowledge in my subject area with better communication skills
Reasons highlighting the incentives to return back to home country – Family responsibilities, Family Ties
and Total value family assets, possible job prospects etc.

- ➢ Visa Condition 8202: I need to have minimum attendance of 80% which is compulsory.
- ➢ Visa Condition 8501: I am required to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OHSC)
- ➢ Visa Condition 8533: I should inform the DHA/Institute within seven days if I migrate or
change contact details.
- ➢ Visa Condition 8105: I am not allowed to work part time as an international student.
- ➢ Visa Condition 8204: I cannot change education provider for six months upon
enrolment.
