INSTRUCTIONS TO MARKERS

1. Candidates are required to answer ALL questions.


2. Candidates’ responses should be assessed as objectively as possible.
3. For Open-ended questions, consideration should be given to the relevancy of learner’s responses.
4. For multiple choice questions, accept BOTH the letter corresponding with the correct answer
AND/OR the answer written in full.

 Distribution of language marks when a learner has quoted verbatim.
6-7 quotes: award no language mark.
4-5 quotes: award 1 language mark.
2-3 quotes: award 2 language marks.
