Application :
This project is essentially targeted towards public places like
malls, offices and places where crowds gather in a lrage
number, which causes a ruckus in parking, with an automated parking
system, anyone entering will directly get which slot is
available, hence, reducing the time and effort to find an available
slot, which also causes people to cause jams in the parking slots, this
also eliminates the need of additional human intervention because
everything is managed automatically by sensors and controllers, for
efficient and easier handling.
4.Comparative Analysis:
Comparison with Large-Scale/Existing Systems:
Our prototype is a simplified version of large-scale automated
parking systems used in commercial facilities.
System Complexity
Our System: Affordable and suitable for smaller parking areas, with
potential for upgrades.
Conclusion:
While not as advanced, our prototype offers a low-cost, practical
solution for small-scale applications, demonstrating key automation
principles.
Noverty:
Our project stands out for its cost-effective design, using IR sensors
and an Arduino Uno to automate parking at a fraction of the cost of
advanced systems.
The integration of real-time parking slot data on an LCD display
ensures convenience without needing complex networking or apps,
making it ideal for smaller setups. Its modular design also allows easy
scalability and upgrades for future needs.
5.Future scope:
The future scope includes:
Smart Parking Systems: Integrating IoT for real-time slot monitoring
and reservation.
Scalability: Expanding to large parking lots and multi-level structures.
Data Analytics: Using collected data for traffic and space
optimization.
Automation: Automated ticketing and payment systems.
Sustainability: Reducing energy usage with efficient designs.
AI Integration: Enhancing predictions for availability.
City-Wide Networks: Linking multiple parking lots for
smart city solutions.
