B- Professional Information
Aims
This is the second mathematics course, MATH204, provided at the GIU for the Informatics
and Computer Science students. It introduces the concepts of vectors in space, matrices,
determinants, linear systems of equations, vector space theory, transformations, eigenvalues
and eigenvectors as well as their engineering applications. The course culminates with an
introduction to complex number theory.
